The symptom assessment is provided in conjunction with Ada Health. The symptom assessment assesses your health complaint based on a number of questions, your personal data you entered in the Quin app (e.g. your birth date and gender) and the information you entered in your medical profile of the Quin app. These date are necessary to reach a reliable and balanced advice. We will only share this information with Ada after you have given your explicit consent for this.
About privacy and security
We (Quin and Ada) have designed and built our software with data protection as our highest priority.
All data are encrypted when they are sent and stored in secure, cloud-based computers, controlled by Amazon Web Services.
Personal data (like names and e-mail addresses) are stored separately from the medical data (like information entered during the symptoms assessment).
Medical data are anonymized and can only be linked to your personal data with the use of a unique key.
Our servers are in the EU and we have received ISO27001 certification to guarantee information security within both Quin and Ada.
How can I remove my personal information?
The medical information used for checking health complaints and the complaint reports of completed assessments are removed the moment that you permanently remove your Quin account. Do you wish to remove your account? Have a look here to see how you can do that.
You can also remove stored complaint reports separately.
Go to ‘My health’ on the main page of the Quin app
Select ‘Complaints reports’ and then the complaint report you wish to remove.
Now select ‘Delete complaint report’ at the bottom of the page.
